The fifth generation of Pokemon is upon us! Pokemon Black and White! Whole new adventure, all new +150 Pokemon, even better features, and first of the Pokemon RPGs to have 3D graphics! Usually it was always the very “flat” look when it came down to playing. One feature they will have is Triple Battles and Rotation Battles.

Black and White take place in the region of Unova, which is far away from all the other regions, requiring you to get there by boat or plane. There is a city version difference depending on which game you purchase. White Forest is exclusive to Pokemon White Version and Pokemon Black Version has Black City.

The new Pokemon games have so much new content your eyes will be spinning and you will be giggling with glee.

Nintendo has finally announced a release date for their brand new handheld system! The system is set to release in Japan on February 26, 2011. The system will be available in 2 different colors, Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. The 3DS is suppose to release in March 27, 2011 in the U.S. but we all know how most titles get pushed back for their releases. So don’t be surprised when you see a different release date besides March.

The pricing for the Nintendo 3DS will be $249.99.  It comes with a 2GB DS card, a charging cradle, and has quite a few new interactions, the SpotPass and the StreetPass. If you want to read up more about the 3DS, here is Nintendo’s Overview on it. http://www.nintendo.com/3ds/hardware

It will be the first to have 3D without glasses! Although Nintendo said it’s aware it could lose potential 3DS sales by issuing warnings that the device’s 3-D effect could be harmful for children. The company said last month that children under 6 years should refrain from using the 3-D modes and stick to playing games strictly in 2-D. Nintendo’s says its warnings are “similar to the warnings on 3-D televisions and other 3-D products from other manufacturers, and is based on the opinions of experts that the company has consulted.”

The 3DS will have franchises like Metal Gear Solid, Legend of Zelda, and many more titles coming to it.

Fortunately the system will be backwards compatible with Nintendo DS titles still.

• Increased level cap: Advance to level 85, earn new abilities, tap into new talents, and learn the  path system, a new way for players to customize their characters.

• New High-Level Content: Explore newly opened parts of the world, including Uldum, Grim Batol, and the great sunken city of Vashj’ir beneath the sea, and enjoy even more high-level raid content than in previous expansions.
• New PvP Zone & Rated Battlegrounds: Take on PvP objectives and daily quests on Tol Barad Island, a new Wintergrasp-like zone, and wage war in all-new rated Battlegrounds.
• Archaeology: Master a new secondary profession to unearth valuable artifacts and earn unique rewards.
• Guild Advancement: Progress as a guild to earn guild levels and guild achievements.
• Flying Mounts in Azeroth: Explore Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms from a whole new perspective.
